Most people can return to normal activities immediately after the procedure. Some people may experience redness and warmth similar to a mild sunburn, which can last for 12-48 hours. Other potential side effects include tightness, itching, and minor swelling.
The procedure is often described as comfortable or mildly uncomfortable. Pain can vary depending on individual pain thresholds. If needed, numbing cream can be applied 30 minutes before treatment.
